After having worked with several other researchers, I knew what I was looking for from a researcher. From the first project Susan Glenn worked on for me I knew I had found what I wanted. She provides a prompt turn around on a research project, good communication, a reasonable price and easily understandable reports with thorough documentation. She has researched several of my lines in the British Isles and in various parts of the United States. No matter what the geographic area or the period of time that she has researched for me, Susan Glenn has delivered on everything I want in a researcher.  Thomas C Bowers, President of the Bowers Family Genealogical Foundation

Family history is such a fascinating thing.  I love the mystery and challenge of it all.  But sometimes the challenge can be a bit much and you feel that you’ve hit a brick wall.  When that happens, drop me a line.  A fresh look and some experience can often make the difference and progress can be made.  Since I am not part of a large conglomerate of genealogists, my overhead is low and I can keep my rates very competitive.  And you will know exactly who is working on your research.

Passport Applications

Were your ancestors immigrants or did they travel outside the United States?  If so, you may be able to locate them in the U.S. Passport Applications.  These are fantastic records that provide a great deal of information.  They usually provide a date and place of birth, place of residence, and often include a photo of the applicant.  They also can show their destination, purpose of the trip, and traveling companions.  These records help to discover more about the life of your ancestor, going beyond just the basic name and date of birth.  These records are available at the Family History Library in Salt Lake City, Utah from 1795 to 1925 with the best records being those in the 1900's.
